NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF NEW COUNTY ELECTION PRECINTS FOR MITCHELL COUNTY

On Monday, December 13, 2021, the Commissioners Court of Mitchell County adopted new county election precincts to comply with Texas Election Code chapter 42. Election Precinct 25 was merged with Election Precinct 2; Election Precinct 46 was merged with Election Precinct 4; and Election Precincts 2 and 3 were adjusted to reflect a change in the county commissioner precincts boundaries.

A copy of the order adopting new election precincts and a map depicting the new election precincts is available for public inspection during normal business hours Monday to Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-3 until Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the County Clerk’s Office, 1st floor, Mitchell County Courthouse 349 Oak Street, Room 103 Colorado City.
